A. General Terms

Welcome to Bookapetland.com. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our platform, where you can book accommodations for pets. By making a reservation, you fully accept these Terms, as well as any additional conditions presented during the booking process.

A1. Definitions

• 'Service Provider' means the pet hotel or boarding centre available on our platform.
• 'Stay' means the hosting of pets at the reserved accommodation.
• 'Account' means the account created by the user to access and make bookings on the platform.
• 'Reservation' means the act of confirming a pet’s stay at an accommodation through our platform.

A2. Use of the Platform

Bookapetland provides a digital platform to search, compare and book pet accommodations. The information presented is provided by the Service Providers. We do not guarantee that all information is accurate, but we make reasonable efforts to keep it updated.

A3. Prices and Payments

All prices displayed are in Euros (€). By confirming a reservation, the user agrees to pay the full amount indicated, including any applicable fees. The Service Provider may require advance payment or a deposit, as indicated during the booking process.

A4. Cancellations and Changes

Cancellation conditions vary depending on each Service Provider and are shown during the booking process. If the user does not show up or cancels outside the permitted period, non-refundable fees may apply.

A5. Limitation of Liability

Bookapetland acts solely as an intermediary between the user and the Service Provider. The Service Provider is solely responsible for the quality of the pet’s stay. Bookapetland will not be liable for any damages, losses or costs arising from the stay, except in cases expressly provided by law.

A6. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data provided will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on the platform. By using our services, the user consents to the processing of their personal data for booking purposes and for communication with Service Providers.

A7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. In the event of a dispute, the competent court will be the one in the consumer’s place of residence, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
